Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure sassa at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service stage designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
